High Definition Availability?
I just recently upgraded to 50 "plasma TV hp, it is clear that I had turned into a big couch potato for the past week. I also upgraded on my DirecTV hi-def service. My only gripe is the local channel my not available in hi-def. I live in Greenville, SC and I know it is, by no means, largest television market in the country, but with more than 3 million people on school, it is not the smallest. I'm sure I'm not the only one set for hi-def service, so my question is how can I find see if / when my local channels will provide high-definition and who can I contact to begin to put a little pressure on the network localities to speed up the process of getting it started.
I check both DirecTV website and googled. Direct that no plans to come, as you can know. Food that they have a plan in Greenville in the future, but how in the same not only the future. If you / might want to put a good quality air (now now called "off-air" antenna), you can get local people your HD, if your area broadcast switched to HD. Personal web pages for you ABC, etc., will let you know. Antennas tend to be cheaper for interferrence bleedover too much to signal Digital does not have a chance to come through properly. Channel Master Crossfire is a the brand better example of a decent antenna. Not sure who you contact to speed up the process. Sorry. One of its expensive and time consuming time for one of the stations received permission, bandwidth, and all that. Also remember that the plasma will demand more energy and signal strength if you will only use one word on the outdoor off-air.
